Human nature can find beauty and wonder in the harshest environments. We were incredibly lucky to work with The North Face Athletes to tell the story of an expedition to the bottom of the world. Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin, Savannah Cummins, Alex Honnold, Anna Pfaff and Cedar Wright made up the team that spent three weeks in the freezing Antarctic and came back with breath-taking images and stories about a fragile and changing ecosystem. The vast environment and contrasting colors of brightly clad climbers against cold blue ice, come together with bold typography and expressive but sharp product photography to bridge the gap of these hard-wearing products and the world in which they thrive.
While some might view Antarctica as a frozen wasteland, it is
in fact a delicate environment defined by sublime beauty.
